Welcome to MassHealth!
In Massachusetts, Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are combined into one program called MassHealth. Use this website to learn about the MassHealth health plans and choose the best health plans for you and your family.
In MassHealth, you choose a health plan and primary care provider (PCP) for each family member, unless you meet certain exceptions. A health plan is a group of doctors, hospitals, and other health care providers. They work together to meet your health care needs.
